Group Therapy
Dynamic group psychotherapy has its focus on relationships and the interaction between people and social systems. Particular attention is paid to the interdependencies of individual behavior, social roles, norms and values, and the social system as a whole. The focus is on viewing groups as a unit that is created through constant interactions between individual systems.
In a group setting, the dynamic group psychotherapy method places emphasis on the relationship between group members and promotes interaction and exchange among each other. The individual group members can test as well as experience new coping strategies to improve their interpersonal relationships. Through this experience they might decide to adopt a new behavior.
